About
My name is Ashley and I love to make jewelry. I first got started making jewelry when I decided I wanted to make something for my friend for her birthday in August 2006 (everyone loves something personally made!). Looking back, it was not the prettiest necklace but it got me hooked nonetheless. All of my wire-wrapping is self-taught with the aid of a few websites.
In addition to wire-wrapping I occasionally will incorporate other techniques in my jewelry such as soldering, etching, hammering, forging, etc. I often mix techniques, such as soldering together a frame (for extra stability) that I will then wire-wrap, or forming a pendant from sterling silver sheet which I then pierce and wire-wrap.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me and tell me if you love something I have made or would like to see more of something. Also I have experience in making custom orders both for everyday wear and for special occasions such as weddings, and I am willing to work with you if you have something specific in mind. For more information check the Commissions page.
About Ashley
I was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area and I have a degree in criminal justice from University of North Texas. I have two wonderful kitties - Kitkat and Mynx. You may have noticed in my blogroll that I have linked to a couple soap blogs. I have a huge interest in soap lately! If all goes well I hope to begin making handmade soaps in a few months in addition to my jewelry.
